Delivery & Pick Up

Delivery 


DJC Furniture uses it’s own fleet of trucks to delivery goods to the Sydney metropolitan area. This means that most orders are handled by our premium delivery service team of driver and offsider so that you don’t have to lift a finger ( in certain circumstances due to access or distance only a driver will be available, in which case the customer is required to assist). These deliveries range from $50 to $90 depending on the postcode.

DJC Furniture uses trusted professional removalists to deliver your furniture Australia wide. Delivery costs are calculated based on your postcode as well as volume of the product and will vary between models. Customers outside of Sydney Metro please email us at info@djcfurniture.com.au with your address and interested product for a competitive shipping rate. 

All products are inspected prior to delivery and are exceptionally well packaged for transport. Your order should arrive to you in perfect condition. If it doesn't, please contact us immediately so we can provide a resolution for you.

Large items such as our lounge suites require a great deal of care and coordination to successfully deliver to your home. Our staff will contact you prior to delivery to discuss your requirements and schedule a convenient time for you to receive your lounge. Sydney metropolitan deliveries can usually be delivered within a narrow window. Interstate delivery schedules tend to be less precise due to logistical complexities, however our friendly carriers will call and advise of their expected arrival time as accurately as possible. To guarantee you the best service, we kindly ask that someone is home to check and sign for the goods upon arrival.

While our carriers will make every effort to assist you and provide the best service possible, they are limited to delivering your order up to a point that is easily accessible. Deliveries that require manoeuvering through narrow doorways, hallways and up stairs may attract a surcharge due to the increased difficulty of access and the amount of time required to achieve delivery. Please ensure that you measure your entryway carefully, taking note of any stairwells, elevators or narrow doorways that will need to be manoeuvred around. If you do not advise us in advance of any potential obstacles, your delivery will not be attempted and your furniture will be returned to our warehouse. Any subsequent delivery attempts will be made at the customer's expense.

Our basic service includes delivery to your door.

A full service delivery including unpacking of your furniture, minor assembly and disposal of packaging materials can be arranged for you if require, this service must be coordinated in advance of delivery and is only available in the Sydney Metro area (charges apply). To prevent damage to your furniture while it is being delivered, our removalists will not unwrap any item until it is in place. Please contact us at info@djcfurniture.com.au to discuss your delivery requirements in detail.

 

Pick-Up and Collection Options 


Collection from our warehouse is available to all customers and free. Please note we require you to contact us on (02) 9602 0048 with your invoice number and time of arrival 24 hours prior to pick up. Upon collection of goods an original Sales invoice must be presented and ID must be supplied.. Payment must be made in full prior to collection of goods.

Please email info@djcfurniture.com.au for information regarding the packaging of your items to ensure you have ample space in your vehicle .

We are happy to coordinate with a third party removalist employed on your behalf. Please ensure they have your relevant order information when booking in collections for your furniture.

We are unable to provide rope, blankets and any other material required to protect and secure your goods, these materials must be brought by the customer.

Collection of goods is at your own risk.

Our staff are not able to assist in securing furniture using ropes, ties or any other mechanism. The customer agrees to free the seller from any liability that results from the provision of such assistance by agents of the seller.
